TOURNAMENT INSTRUCTIONS

DATES: Monday and Tuesday, April 20-23
PLACE: Legends Golf Course

FEES: Green fees for the 36 hole two day tournament are $30 per player plus an entry fee of $15 per person, for a $45 total (range balls not included, each participant $2 total for tournament). The $45 per team member is to be paid to your district director (listed on page 23 of this Spring Meet Handbook) by Tuesday, April 15th. One check will be sent from each district to cover all athletic events for your district.

COACHES: Coaches report to Tournament Director, 7:45 a.m., April 21st in the
MEETING: clubhouse, to pick up packets.

PLAN OF PLAY: Competition will be 36 holes medal play with each contestant playing 18 holes each day. U.S.G.A rules will prevail. Any contestant not on the tee box at the designated time will be disqualified. Pairings will be posted on the day of the tournament and will be paired by the lowest team scores for the second day of play. Score cards will be signed and attested. Tee time: 9:00 a.m. at #1 and #10 tee. Medallist will be paired whenever possible with other medallists.

MONITORS: Monitors will be utilized at the Region II AA golf tournament. Each school with a team or individual contestant will be required to provide a qualified person to serve as a monitor. Coaches may serve as monitors. Monitors will not accompany any group which contains players from the school the monitor is representing. Any team or individual who does not provide a monitor will be disqualified from the Regional Tournament. The Region II AA Tournament Director or Regional Office is not responsible for providing substitute monitors and will not provide golf carts for use by monitors.

NOTE: Practice rounds are not provided with the above green fees. All practice arrangements must be handled through the Legends Golf Course. See the C&CR pg. 172 (g) (7) concerning practice round limits. Call Legends Golf Course at (254) 968-2200 for practice round. A tee time will be required for any practice round, regardless of when it is played.

FOR PRACTICE ROUNDS: Sunday Practice Green Fees are $25. Monday-Thursday Practice Green fees are $15 for students.Cart rentals are $25 per cart. These fees need to be paid directly to Legends by each school.
