Interdisciplinary Business

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Interdisciplinary Business provides a solid foundation in the University core courses, the College of Business Administration core courses, and a 24 hour support area. Courses in the support area or areas must be selected through collaboration with the heads of the departments involved. Students who pursue this degree are able to combine courses from two or more disciplines to prepare for current and emerging career fields. Support areas include but are not limited to:

BS in Applied Science

The Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science provides career advancement and life enrichment opportunities to students trained in specific vocational/technological occupations. The program includes the University core courses, a foundation of business and related courses, and a 24-hour approved occupational or technical specialization. The technical competencies may be acquired through technical education programs in community colleges, technical schools, military schools, and/or regular college courses. 

BS in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration includes the University core courses and business foundation courses that will enable students to meet the varied needs of the business world. The program provides flexibility for the student to select additional business courses and related electives to enhance current or anticipated employment. Students choose a 15-hour concentration in one of the business disciplines: Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing, or Business Composite. 

BAAS in Business Occupations

The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Business Occupations includes the University core courses, a foundation of business courses, and an occupational specialization which is composed of approved technical training and approved work experience. The occupational specialization is approved through the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Committee. This degree program is designed for the student with at least 12 hours in technical training and appropriate work experience who desires to earn a bachelors degree.
