Eighteenth Century Collection - a comprehensive digital edition of The Eighteenth Century, the world’s largest library of the printed book on microfilm, available through its imprint Primary Source Microfilm™. In the most ambitious single digitization project ever undertaken, nearly 150,000 English-language titles and editions published between 1701 and 1800 will be made available online over the course of the next two years. When complete, the product will allow full-text searching of more than 33 million pages of material, in essence, every significant English-language and foreign-language title printed in the United Kingdom, along with thousands of important works from the Americas.

When you simultaneously search Contemporary Authors (CA), Contemporary Literary Criticism Select (CLC Select), and Dictionary of Literary Biography (DLB), you'll find in-depth information on the lives and writings of more than 110,000 authors along with critical reaction to their works. This series includes integrated indexes to both the DLB and CLC print series.
Gale Literary Index - a master index to the major literature products published by Gale. It combines and cross references more than 140,000 author names, including pseudonyms and variant names, and listings for over 183,000 titles into one source.
JSTOR - is a database which includes full text journals in a number of different subjects. Coverage varies for different journals and includes issues of journals from the early 20th century, but does not include current material.
Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts - assists both generalists and specialists in keeping abreast of cutting-edge developments in disciplines concerned with the nature and use of language. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. MLA - Produced by the Modern Language Association of America, the MLA International Bibliography indexes critical scholarship on literature, language, linguistics and folklore. Coverage includes journal articles, series, monographs, dissertations, bibliographies, proceedings and other materials. The database includes all records indexed from 1963 to the present, approximately 1,400,000 records.
Oxford English Dictionary - Covers words from across the English-speaking world, from North America to South Africa, from Australia and New Zealand to the Caribbean. It also offers the best in etymological analysis and in listing of variant spellings, and it shows pronunciation using the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Periodicals Archive Online - The indexing for this database goes back over 200 years, but it does not come up at the present time. Great contemporary coverage for modern history topics and a link to JSTOR make this database one of the best for historical research.
Project Muse - Provides full text online access to over one hundred scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics.
Science Direct - is the world's largest electronic collection of science, technology and medicine full text and bibliographic information.
Short Story Index - is the electronic version of the standard reference work Short Story Index. It is an index to short stories written in or translated into English that have appeared in collections and selected periodicals. The periodicals are those indexed in Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature and Humanities Index.
Student Resource Center Gold - includes a literature topic and author search as well as an encyclopedia of literature.
