Ye Olde Buffalo Chip Cookies

Take a right-huge hopper [large mixing bowl] and slop in [add] a mess of melted greaze [butter or margarine]; add a mess [two cups] of brown sugar, a mess [two cups] of white sugar, four hen fruits [eggs], and a dollop [two teaspoons] of vanilla. Throw in a pinch [one teaspoon] of salt, a couple of messes [four cups] of flour, a couple of fingers [two teaspoons] of baking soda, and a couple more fingers [two teaspoons] of baking powder. Shake the preceding stuff [sift salt, flour, soda, powder] through a sieve into the hopper -- if you feel guilty about not doing it! Toss in a mess [two cups] of oats (buffaloes like oats), a mess [two cups] of corn flakes, a large package of chocolate chips, a half mess [one cup] of pecans (or walnuts if you prefer), and half a mess [one cup] of coconut. All this stuff needs to be agitated [mixed] together until well put upon.

You should have lit your fire [oven] ahead of time, raising the flames [temperature] to 350 degrees. Slop out about four dips of dough per cookie sheet (try using an ice cream scoop). Insert the pan into the flames for about 15 minutes, until medium brown.

Makes about two dozen yummie-good cookies!
