Driver Safety Training

Student safety is a top priority for Tarleton State University. Tarleton’s commitment to providing its students a safe university experience reaches beyond the confines of its campus; It extends into every university-sanctioned trip its students take. As a result, the university has developed Student Travel Regulations with the expectation that all those supervising and conduding travel will strictly adhere to its requirements.

Tarleton Student Travel Regulations require that anyone transporting students on university-sanctioned travel must first complete Driver Safety Training. This includes students transporting other students.

The schedule of Driver Safety Training (DST) classes is located on the University Calendar. Clicking on the "Calendar of Training Events" on the menu to the right will take you to the training calendar.

Contact the Human Resource Training and Development office to register for a DST class.
