Double click on the TSU VPN program that you downloaded.

This box should appear.

Click on the Setup Button.

As the installer decompresses the program, it will look like this:

Once the WinZip Self-Extractor is finished this next screen will appear:

If you receive this error message, click Yes.

For WindowsXP users, a warning might appear that looks like this.  If this occurs, click, "Continue Anyway".  (On rare occasions, this message will appear twice).

The installer Splash Screen should look like this:

Once the TSU VPN Client is installed, it will prompt you to restart your machine.  It is important that the machine is Restarted before you use the program.

This is the main window of the program.  The default options should work fine.  Click the Connect button.

This window should appear.  It displays the status of your connection.  Once a successful connection is made, it will disappear.

Once the VPN server connects to your machine, it will prompt you for a Username and Password.  This will be the same as your Tarleton E-mail account.  Once you have typed them in, select OK.

If the server cannot be found, or it too full (which rarely happens), this message will appear.  Just click OK and try again.

If you are successfully connected to the the VPN server, the connection dialogue box will disappear, followed by the appearance of a small yellow lock in the lower right corner.  If this icon is Locked, you are connected.  However, if the icon is Un-locked, you are not connected.

Double clicking on the lock will bring up this dialogue box.  It displays details about your connection status.

Clicking on the Statistics table changes the display to this, which displays the number of bytes in an out of the VPN connection.  These displays are sometimes helpful in troubleshooting your connection.

If any connection problems occur, they will be listed here.
