Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology Certification

Program Description

The CLS/MT certificate program is a 16 month professional course of study that prepares students for careers in diagnostic laboratory medicine. The program is available for post baccalaureate students with a BS degree and the necessary science prerequisites or as the senior year for students attending one of our 4-year institutional partners. The certification program includes both traditional classroom study in the medical sciences and internship rotations in the medical center of Fort Worth and other areas in the metroplex. The program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). Enrollment in the certification program is limited and requires a secondary application.
