Creating Your Presentation

It is now time to create and prepare your classroom presentation.

Content Requirements

Lesson/Presentation

The lesson/presentation should:

  • teach others how to use your specified "tech tool",
  • be 8-12 minutes in length,
  • properly use at least one of the "tech tools" described in this tutorial, and
  • include the required technical information (see below for details).
Digital camera
  • How to operate.
  • How to insert a picture taken with the camera into a Microsoft Word document.
  • How a digital camera could be used to enhance instruction.
Smartboard
  • How to orient the board.
  • How to operate the board.
  • How to use the Smartboard Gallery to enhance instruction.
Video camera
  • How to operate the camera and assemble the tripod.
  • How a video camera could be used to enhance instruction.
Apple I-Pod
  • How to operate the I-Pod.
  • How to upload mp3's to the I-Pod.
  • How to use an I-Pod in the classroom.
LCD projector with laptop computer
  • How to set up equipment (what plugs into what).
  • How to view a PowerPoint presentation.
  • How a laptop with projector could be used to enhance instruction.
Wolfvision
  • How to connect the Wolfvision to the LCD projector.
  • How the Wolfvision could be used to enhance instruction.

 

This assignment will be graded using the Tech Tools rubric.
