How to Apply for a Probationary Certificate (available for Principal and Superintendent only)

How to apply:
Go to website www.sbec.state.tx.us and click on "Online Services for Educators".
You will then be asked to either create an account or login using a previously created account.
Once you have logged in, click on "Applications" on the left side of the screen and
then choose "Probationary Certificate."

**Very Important***
When it asks which entity you request to be recommended by:

If you are applying for a Probationary Principal or Probationary Superintendent,
choose "Tarleton State University (Post Baccalaureate)."

In "Subject applying for", type in either Principal, or Superintendent.
 

Letters of completion:
If you have applied correctly, you will receive a system generated e-mail stating "Your probationary application for certification has been submitted to Tarleton State University."   You will also receive an e-mail when you have been recommended by Tarleton.

**NOTE:  You will not be recommended until Tarleton State University has all the proper documentation required depending on your program.
