THEA REQUIREMENT

 Exemptions for the THEA requirement are from SAT, ACT, TAAS, or TAKS scores.  Test scores must all be from the same sitting and from the same test.  Test scores must not be older than 5 years unless specific permission is obtained from the certification officer.   See below for specific scores required.

 If you are not exempt, you must take the THEA or an approved alternative: Asset, Compass, or Accuplacer.  All three parts must be passed, but you can use a combination of tests and test dates.  The Accuplacer is given often at Tarleton, but you must make an appointment by calling 254-968-9423.
