Code Of Conduct /Cancellation Policies
No Show/Cancellation policies have been established to help students develop professional business practices and courtesies in the world of work and to ensure students a successful launch into their careers. Missed or late appointments inconvenience others:
- Employers who take time to come to Tarleton to recruit and have planned their schedules around interview dates/times.
- Students who desired an interview, but were unable to schedule an appointment because the schedule was full.
- Tarleton State University and the Career Service Center’s relationship with employers and community volunteers who serve as mock interview mentors.
The no show policy applies when a student does not appear and/or fails to cancel a scheduled interview with an employer on campus, a mock interview, or any appointment with career services staff such as resume assistance, career counseling, or job search consultation.
