Annual Meeting

Our 2008 annual meeting will be held 22-24 February in Junction, TX.

The Texas Society of Mammalogists holds its annual meeting each year in February at the Texas Tech University Center at Junction. Students (both graduate and undergraduate) are invited to present the results of their research efforts as either an oral or poster presentation. Poster presentations are scheduled on Friday evening while oral presentations commence on Saturday morning.

Considerable expertise covering a broad array of mammalian biology is represented by our membership, providing a wonderful opportunity for students to discuss their projects with established mammalogists in an informal environment. The society is committed to promoting student participation in the society and several cash awards are given to the best presentations each year at the Saturday evening banquet.
