Hybridization, polyploidy and rapid speciation in Chelone and peanuts using molecular markers. Floristics of the Texas Coastal Bend, Cross Timbers, and Ozark Plateau Regions. Ecology and biodiversity of plants and mammals of the Cross Timbers. Genetic improvement of hay crops.
