Collecting Texas mice
in the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma

Question #1: Is this population geographically isolated from those to the east? Question #2: How different are they genetically from those in the Wichita Mountains or south in Texas? Stay tuned. We're using mitochondrial DNA and AFLP analysis to address these questions and more. Interested? If so, talk with me about doing research in my lab. We'll be collecting mice from other populations and performing the genetic analyses.
