Online Homework Registration Instructions

Course Compass and PhGradeAssist

I.  Enroll in the course for CHEM 105

A.  You will need the course ID number:  low23648

B.  If you did not use the online homework before:

1.  You will need a student access code.  There should have been one shrinkwrapped with the book last semester.  If not, online access can be purchased by credit card.

2.  You will need a valid e-mail address.

3.  Go to www.coursecompass.com and click the Register button for students.

4.  Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your access code and contact information.

5.  Create a login name and a password

C.  If you used the online homework before:

1.  You will need to enroll in a new course.

2.  Log in to www.coursecompass.com with your login name and password.

3.  Click the Enroll in a New Course button on the My CourseCompass page.

4.  Enter the new course ID and follow the on-screen instructions to complete enrollment

II.  Register on the PhGradeAssist website for CHEM105

A.  Look for “Student Learning Resources” and click on the link.

B.  Under the PhGradeAssist section, click on “Click Here to access PhGrade Assist”

C.  Choose the “Dr. Low’s CHEM105 MWF9” site with the class code “low10510”. (http://phga.pearsoncmg.com/onekey/classes/low10510/)

D.  You should now be registered for this site.  Future assignments may be accessed using the PhGradeAssist URL directly.
